everyone has a soulmate, no matter where, how old or gender,everyone has a symbol tattooed on them and when they meet their soulmate they share tattoos. Two men named Barry Kramer and Leigh Daniel Avidan live together knowing that they are not soulmates, Dan believes he won't find his soulmate and is very pessimistic while Barry is hopeful and optimistic.
Arin Hanson is an animator who feels as if no one could love him his tattoo is a sun so everyone calls him solar, Dan Avidan is a musician with a moon tattoo so he calls himself lunar, Barry Kramer is a video editor who has an eclipse tattoo but just likes being called his name, Ross O'Donovan is an animator with a star tattoo, Brian Wecht is a physics professor with a half sun half moon tattoo, Holly Conrad is a sculptor who makes cosplay props,has a white cat tattoo, and Suzy Berhow is a makeup artist who has a black cat tattoo.

Louis spent his entire adolescence excited at the possibilities of what his tattoo would look like and who his soulmate would be, until his 18th birthday. The day of everyone's lives where they're supposed to have had their tattoo already. Now, 5 years after the disappointment of not receiving one, Louis has completely given up on ever finding someone. He's given up on ever getting a tattoo, on ever finding a soul mate, and on ever being loved. Until he meets Kealleigh a month after her 18th birthday. (This is a short story. Please do not directly steal my ideas, like the tattoos for example because I made them up entirely on my own. This short story is a complete work of fiction inspired by some other soulmate stories that I've read over time.
