Madisyn has tried to kill herself. She refuses any of the help offered to her. She can't look at herself in the mirror. She can't go to school without her blade. She can't even raise her hand in class without being terrorized by the rest of the class. If that's not bad enough, she has to come home to her drunken step-dad who hits her any chance her gets. She can't let anyone into that part of her life. She just can't trust anyone. So imagine her disdain when the new kid who actually saved her life enlists him self as her new bodyguard.
