The Hospital

Darkness. That's all I saw behind my closed eye lids. Muffled voices could be faintly heard from afar. My head ached like literal hell was burning inside my cranium. My legs throbbed. I wanted to open my eyes, but was to tired to even lift my eyelids. The voices became clearer and clearer by the minute. About five minutes later, I could make out a couple words.

"Insane. Side. Road. Killed. Sister. Police. Inmate. Stay. Medication. Renete."

Renete? Who's Renete? Where am I? Who are these voices? I gotta get out of here!

I tried to open my eyes but I was as if they were glued closed. I tried to move my body but it stayed still as if i were paralyzed. I felt hands on my arms, legs and solders holding me down. The calm voices were replaced by frantic screams and yelling. I tried to scream for help but no sound escaped from my lips. I was helpless.
