Life as we know it is crumbling. As our world transitions from the normal to the exceptional, a child's wildest dreams become nightmares, as those with special skills are labeled as insane, or monsters, and subjected to inhumane experimentation.
Zeref Dragneel runs an underground rescue operation, protecting the skilled from those who would do them harm, but when his younger brother is committed to an insane asylum, how will he protect everything close to him?
