Kat had witnessed a scene she never thought would occur. Having had ran from it, she thought she was in the clear as days ticked by, but oh was she wrong. Swept up into the world of shadows and pretty creatures of the night Kat now has a chance to lead a life she had always dreamed of.
Or, you know, smash in some heads and take names. Either way her mark will be left on the world she had no intention of joining.
Just for fun project, not meant to be quality but wanted to share some ideas I've been wanting to try. Unedited and unrefined due to the nature of the WIP. If fandom ever develops I'll come back and smooth the rough edges.

Our Conscious Fields; What is living?
Slow paced narrative set in a world awakened to panpsychism and innate abilities following the fall and rise of society. A gentle approach to world building with a bit of humor, romanticism, and just enough hints of drama without going into it. When everyone writes about how it could all go wrong or what happens after it does; who wants to read about what happens if it just goes right for once? Still conflict and drama but, the hard work is already done. Now you just get to see a glimpse of what happens in a reality where it all works out. Ten years ago every creature, myth, and legend that you can think of, and some you have never heard of, decided to stop hiding and started attacking people. Out of theses attacks the families that have hunted these creatures for centuries in secret decide to make themselves know as well becoming there own judge, jury and executioner under the name of the Creature Hunter Association (CHA for short) Enter Katrina (Kat) Lovedock, a member of the Lovedock hunter family one of the best and well known hunter families to ever patrol the streets. Unfortunately, Kat is not technically a member having been disowned after one horrible night that changed her life, in more ways then one. 5 years after that night she still has all her training that her father taught her and uses those skills to hunt down dangerous creatures while also being hunted herself.
