In this story Wolf and her twin brother, Night, along with her daughter, Mavis, are left for dead by their foster parents, at the ages of 16 and 6. They get separated after being attacked by two of the Furries. Nico and Grover find her in an alley just as the Furry explodes in a cloud of yellow dust. Wolf refuses to leave the city without Night and Mavis. Just as Nico and Grover are about to give up waiting and force her to leave Percy and Annabeth walk up to them with Night.
