Journal Entry: SB-0001 December 18th, 2031 It has been about five months since the attack, and our meager fleet of ships are clinging to life. It all started with an interstellar signal. Sometimes, superstition has it right. It might not have been wrong to compare that dreadful signal to the blaring of the trumpets signaling the end of times. By the time they arrived, they knew us as if they had been watching us all along. Their invasion was swift, precise, and purpose-driven, ruined only by our own short-sighted counterattack that delayed the inevitable. And, during that delay, a small fraction of humanity managed to escape into the stars. With our homeworld of Earth gone in the blink of an eye, we are now forced to survive on modified cruiseliner starships and cling to life as our pursuers relentlessly hound us, the varying perils of space claw at our very existence, and our own simmering tensions threaten to break into a roiling turmoil. However, if there is one thing that gives me hope as I write this journal entry, it is that humanity can accomplish even the seemingly impossible through cooperation and willpower. Into the Void
It is the year 2351 and the galaxy is expanding. Planets all across settled space are preparing for the next great wave of expansion. Ships are sailing out into the black in search of new homes for humanity. As the next wave of colony ships prepare to leave the frontier, pilot Nate Levin finds himself alone and destitute on a backwater space station. The void is a dangerous place and when pirates attack his home, Nate is left with one choice: leave everything behind and pray for a fresh start on a new planet. Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete

There was a fleet led by the named carrier after the first founder of the empire, MGS Karliana Mauser, but facing overwhelming forces by the colonies. It ultimately led to a devastating defeat which leads to the devastation of Asteria by the colonies. The mistake was soon realized by the colonies who wept seeing their homeworld origin devastated by their own hands.
