Iris Dursley is a witch in her fifth year of hogwarts. The wizarding world has been safe from darkness since the defeat of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, but a new threat is bubbling up from under the surface. When students start to behave strangely and and an ancient power is born again, the next generation of witches and wizards must again fight to defend what their families and friends have died for. There is light and darkness inside us all and in the quest for power who is to say what Iris will act on.

The first ten chapters are very old and somewhat poorly written. The story is taking a new direction as Iris as a fifth year so now the first ten chapters are prologue that are not necessary to understand the main story. Feel free to read them or skip them, but I plan on leaving them up for now.

Dursley's Daughter (A Harry Potter Next Generation Fan Fic)

26 części Opowieść Zakończona

In an interview, JK Rowling once said that she thought about writing Dudley Dursley into the Epilogue with a magical child. What if she had? This is the story of Dudley's daughter, Esther. Entering her sixth year at Hogwarts, Esther is becoming sick of stereotypes. Sorted into Hufflepuff as a first year, she feels destined to be only loyal and diligent: qualities of a sidekick, not a leader. And it's her last name, Dursley, that causes the uncomfortable disconnect between her and the Potter-Weasleys without them getting to know each other at all. But as she slowly befriends the Slytherin Scorpius Malfoy and captains her house's Quidditch team, Esther has the chance to prove to Hogwarts that not only is there more substance to Hufflepuffs than meets the eye, but that all stereotypes - of houses and last names - can, and should, be crushed.
