The execution at Helgen was interrupted, not by a black dragon, but by a red dragon and the Dragonborn.

Ayla leads a secret rebellion against the Thalmor. With two dragons fighting with her and an army that stands with her, she is determined to destroy the Thalmor.

But that isn't enough. She went on a mission to help the Stormcloaks escape execution by being one of the people being executed.

All she can do after is hope that Ulfric will see reason and she on the alliance.

Honor of the Dragonborn

14 parts Complete Mature

Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.
