Lost in SHE

All the world was dark. Lost. Gone. Cold. Forgotten.

The words that described my miserable life. I remember little of the time of shine. Life was at one point glorious, it was even, if I could speak the forbidden word, perfect. I remember only barely that I had at one point been warm, I remember a bright thing called Sun. But even her counterpart Moon has fled, and like starlings his children the stars swarmed after him.

And like Sun, Moon, and every star, life fled. Why did it flee? Well that was in part, ok totally my fault. I remember that before even the great descending life was bitter to me.

I know I should have cherished what I had, but SHE consumed my life. If only.....
