Kaira is not your average fourteen year old girl. Now I don't mean that there's anything special about her, she can't read minds and freaks out over a bug. Kaira lives in Switzerland which is said to be controlled by the Higher Powers, nobody has ever 'encountered' them except for President Frédéric. The only problem is, nobody knows anything about the Higher Powers, they have been tought that they are the country's ancestral founding fathers.

This all changes when Kaira finds out something nobody knows.
