"This is your last try," Negan whispered against my neck and his hands were squeezing my wrist to the wall. Daryl ran through my mind. His face, his stare, his touch. "you have no other choice." I swallowed at the thought of never being able to leave again. I could only stare a the blank wall across the room. I waited for him to threaten me once more but nothing ever came. I closed my eyes and nodded. He only laughed at me. "I want you to say it."
"I will live for you," I whispered. His rough lips kissed my neck and he chuckled.
        "That's what I thought."

I picked up every article of clothing as I heard the water streaming from behind the curtains. Folding her clothes near where she kept her shoes, I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower with her. My hands wrapped around her waist, as I stuck my face in the crook of her neck. I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of the ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she is mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks. And I want to be able to tell her, but with everything going on, I'm not sure when it's the appropriate time. Hell, the words have never been formed in my mouth. Not even with my brother. So instead of talking verbally, I let myself speak physically. Her body turned to me, giving me a heated kiss. When I pushed her to the wall of the bathroom, it was game over for both of us. - - - The Walking Dead AU Daryl Dixon x OFC 𝐁.𝐃.𝐃. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐜 (𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟏)

71 parts Ongoing

Elena Monroe was supposed to be starting nursing school. Eighteen, driven, grieving-but healing. Her father had passed from leukemia a year earlier, and all she wanted was to make him proud. Then the world ended. She and her mother packed up the car with her little sister Ivy, hoping to escape Georgia and reach the safety of Atlanta. But what started as a desperate plan shattered on the roadside-when her mother suffered a heart attack behind the wheel. With no emergency services, no help, and only a few months of first aid training, Elena was forced to make an impossible choice. She buried the woman who raised her and drove away with a shell-shocked eleven-year-old in the passenger seat. Gridlock stopped them just outside the city. Walkers flooded the highway. And Elena-bleeding, exhausted, and breaking-stumbled across a group of strangers: Shane Walsh. Lori and Carl Grimes. Carol, Sophia, and Ed Peletier. They took her in. Protected her. Called her strong. But Elena never felt strong. Just awake when everyone else was still dreaming. The quarry became a fragile safe haven. Ivy found laughter again. Elena found purpose. But in a world where everyone turns after death, she'll soon learn... she's not like the rest. In a world built on death, what happens to the girl who won't rot?
