This story sets place in the books Warriors, I recommend you reading. We have our main character Warmstone, the medicine cat apprentice. Who knows what trouble he'll get in to? also note that I have not finished the series while I'm writing this, so warning if some things contradict the Warriors series.

Both the she-cats go through hardships and battle having the temptation of mates as young apprentices, one far worse than the other.
