My Saving Grace(Finished)
Hazel has a good life. She's a shadowhunter, but her parents, and her aren't involved with the shadowhunting world for the most part. She loves hanging out at the club, she's beautiful, and intelligent, and is noticed by everyone where she goes. But what happens when one day her parents go missing, and the only clue as to where they are is her seeing a Prince of Hell take off with them for what seems to be no reason. A shadowhunter, who Hazel just met, says he'll help her, but she soon finds out that he's Sebastian Morgenstern. At first Hazel thinks nothing of it. Then she learns of all the horrible things he's gone. But can't bring herself to tell the Clive. Anything to save her parents, right? And... she seems to find herself falling for him... even though she doesn't want to. This book was started before I read City of Heavenly Fire, so please bear with me on somethings. This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness.
