A girl named Nina and a boy named Zephyr live in a world where the gifted are slain no matter how young they are. And after finding out they are gifted, Nina and Zephyr take a long journey to escape their terrible pasts of murderous parents and axes, to a world where the gifted live in mostly peace.
Best friends, they first have survive through the mortal world of the East lands and to the wild and dangerous lands of the West where Magic used to exist. A place where men are mysteriously killed by the terrain and creatures lurk that only exist in nightmares these days.
This story is a backstory of a novel I am writing, and in hope, I hope you enjoy the world where there are many blemishes and roses in between.
