Rules of Love:
1.	Make sure they are head over heels in love with you.
2.	They can think they are in control of the relationship but ultimately you must be.
3.	But above all, never ever actually fall in love.

Samantha Mercer’s been in love – been there done that, already been used and abused. She’s not willing to go there again. For the past couple years, it’s worked; all she has to do is follow her three Rules of Love.
Then her parents announce the move back to where it all started – back to her childhood home. Sammie’s ready to face the music. She’s ready to show the world that she has what it takes to be cute, be funny – be normal for once in her life.
After all, the world’s a stage. Samantha Mercer is not just an actress in this story of love – no, she’s determined to be the director. She’s determined to be the one pulling the strings, determined to be the one in control.
Unfortunately, the Rules of Love are hard to follow.
