Vanessa Monroe or Essa what her friends would call her, since she doesn't have any friends anymore because of the school's player Lucas Soto. Vanessa is bullied at school and beat at home by her stepmother Amanda, Essa is like Amanda's slave if does some wrong, Essa get beaten; the worst part is that her dad doesn't even know. She has to lie to her teachers, because she is always hissing in pain whenever she does something. Essa also suffers from self-harm.
Lucas Soto the school's player also the son of the school's principal. Yup the most popular guy in school. He has most of the girls under his spell. He will do anything to destroy Essa's life, and she hasn't done anything to him at all, but he can't stand Julio Hernandez, the school's Bad-Boy.
Julio Hernandez the school's Bad-Boy, he only has two friends the rest are just fake friends, the ones that just hang out with him just more popularity. Everybody is afraid him because of the rumors that are spread around from Lucas, even though most girls prefer Julio instead of Lucas. Julio has many things he busy with and one of them is to get to know the school's nerd.
So what happens when Essa and Julio bump into each other? And when Essa starts developing feelings for Julio what will she do? What about when Lucas won't leave Essa alone and wants to make her life more than living hell?
