*draft 1 *This book continues off of book 1 of The Banished Hybrid series. *Series is best read in chronological order from book 1 all the way to book 6. *If this is the 1st book in the series you've found, I recommend reading book 1 first before reading this one. Book 2 starts off almost exactly after book 1 ends. Now on the run, Emily, Jasmine, and Lily, have taken asylum at the Alpha King's home. Emily is still upset over what happened at the battle against the magical creatures and the royal family. Still suffering from nightmares of her birth, and now the battle and the death of her parents, Emily tries to be happy for Jasmine who is bonding with her long lost father. The Alpha King even offers Emily and Jasmine some training over being werewolves and how to connect with their creature side more. Emily takes focus on the training but when King Augustus takes revenge over the magical creatures taking out half of his family, he makes the magical creature factions to offer up some of their own in a brutal arena where they are forced to fight to the death. The Alpha King, who just found his daughter, doesn't want to hand her over but he hands Emily over, making her despise the Alpha King even more. In the first year of the brutal entertainment yet again for the humans, Emily meets fellow witch orphanage sisters Valentine and Violet. All three of them form an alliance and together will they win the brutal revenge arena King Augustus has them trapped in or would they die trying? Need to start at book 1? (I'm currently in the process of rewriting this book with new ideas, brainstorming about new scenarios for the book, along with work with a better system make this book flow better. The Path of the Adventurer
Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! A large castle in the dense forest of Lunardell is where the royal family resides. In Everfall lies the Hunter's guild, the protectors against spirits. And in Starfell lies the main port for business and travel. Elves travel back and forth between realms here. These Elves also possess magical and elemental abilities such as water, air, fire, earth, and shapeshifting. This book is about Michael, a blue eyed elf from a small village in Starfell, and Ruvyn, the violet eyed princess of the realm. How they end up together? You'll have to read and find out. I must mention that this book has some really dark topics, and blood. Don't read if you're sensitive to these things. Anyways, I hope ya'll enjoy my book!
