Well... throughout the life I've lived so far, I've sort of learned a whole lot of lessons and qualities by experiencing failures, seeing nature, making people happy, being content and optimistic, and many more that I'll further mention in this book. From these, I'll give an idea and comprehension for each 'life lesson'. Sort of like the inspirational talk from Firefly, my previous book. I too shall mention some of my favourite quotations by some of the great people our humanity has seen.
In the end, this is how we view our personal paradise as; that is our state of having nothing to regret whilst on our deathbed. Thus comes the name, "Finding Paradise".
This book is dedicated to you, reader. May you apply the life lessons you find in the chapters to produce the most ripe of your talents while making a difference in the lives of the people around you.

It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. How we made it in South Africa
I invite you to share in our journey. I started writing this book 13 May 2008 It takes you through our whole experience of rising up and prospering in South Africa - even under a racist ANC government. I've written this book as an inspiration, that even in the face of huge adversity, you can come out on the other side and make it. However, my wish for you is not to only "make it" - but live your best life. I invite you to come on this journey with us. It was sometimes an emotional rollercoaster with many trials and tribulations, but the end result was worth it. This book is very special and unique in the sense that it was started and written while I was at the lowest point in my life with no salvation in sight... It's wasn't written in hindsight or after the fact. It started with hope, a dream, a promise. You will see when you start going through these pages - If I could make it, surely you can. Being the difference I want to see in the world.
As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. B4B Before the Beginning
Goddius I am content to see the rotation of light.... turn into darkness then back into light. Which is the same as it goes into night from light right back into night. I am delighted and pleased to see the sky and seas, the land which is firm with grass that is green and plenty of trees. I'll make sure they have lots of fruits and veggies.... that will come with its own seeds to full each of their bellies... And I'll grow it all over.... To cover their needs daily. And I must not forget to thank Mother Nature...she helped me line up the sun, stars and the moon she did it so fast, the time goes by so soon. Then I filled up the oceans with small and big fish... crabs, oysters, shrimp. Whenever they like, they can have as much as they wish. I put birds in the sky that knew how to fly, so that they'll know without my call they could only soar so high. I put some animals to be admired and some to be hugged, livestock to be eaten and some to be rubbed. Yet I saved the best for last and you will walk in my image, but respect the atmosphere because you're the ones living in it.... Now the only thing left to do, is to wish it all true, if you want to come to heaven then do as we do.... Let it be done on earth as it is done in heaven...
