Ever get sick of all those Corney fanfics? Ever wondered what it would be like if DreamWorks made a Grojband movie? Well, do I have a story for you!
Based on "Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown", the studio that brought you "Madagascar" and "Trolls" comes a movie based on the "Grojband" characters created by Canadian cartoonist Todd Kauffman. The gang is shipped off to summer camp, where Corey gets a "Go away and leave me alone" bunkmate, and where the twins Kin and Kon end up winning most of the athletic trophies. Kin also has a running feud with a mean-spirited nerdy girl. Meanwhile, Laney organizes an anti-girly girls campaign amongst the girly girl campers. The bulk of the action transpires when the gang builds a raft to enter a dangerous shoot-the-rapids race, only to be outclassed by the professionally built vessel picked up by their competitors. Happily, pluck and luck wins out over arrogance and mean-spiritedness.
