I rushed to attend the person who had knocked the door three times now. We were expecting my bother, he was coming home after 16 years. I opened the door. However, I was greeted with known face, "What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here at this time." I asked hushed voice (whisper asked). He was about to say something when my mom cut him off with bone crushing hug.
"Oh my son. You have grown up in handsome man." Mom said caressing his dark gelled hair. Frown settled on his face with mom's action as my mind tried to understand the scene unfolding in front of my eyes.
However mom didn't wait for me as she dragged him inside, "Sweetie wouldn't you like to serve the Walnut Choco pie you have made for your brother?" She asked me over her shoulder as John starred at me with wide eyes, confused and shocked. John? It's supposed to be Nathan? Oh my god! It- it is...
I opened my mouth to answer but nothing came out. I had to lean on nearest wall so that I wouldn't fall. I was in love with this guy who is actually my brother? My mind couldn't accept. I started feeling dizzy, I practically ran up to kitchen before I were going to faint. I needed a glass of water. I just couldn't wrap my head around the situation at this point. Just a moment ago I was happy making plans that he was coming to my city and now he is in my house not as a guest but my own very sibling.
