A new country A new state. A new city. A new home. A new school. Jacob Hood is a 16 year old student, Born and Bred in Manhattan, New York City with fine eats, champagne and limousines being the usual. Then in an uncertain chain of events he lands up in Durban, South Africa and although he has money, he soon finds out that money can't buy everything. He then meets new friends, some who mess up his life and some who make it all right. He has problems adjusting to school and everything around him. But as the year passes by we soon findout that Jacob has now found himself, this is his journey... This is the StudentHood.

Alyssa is a 19 year old college student and has a clear planned out future. But as she begins to attend NYU, her life is no longer perfectly scheduled. Changing all of her plans. changing who she is Secrets will be uncovered, innocence will be lost, hearts will be broken, and rough pasts will come to present. Only time will tell what other messes will come of Alyssa and Aiden meeting. But one thing to be sure of is things are never what they seem. Can't judge a book by its cover, a lesson that both Alyssa and Aiden must learn.
