Wei Wuxian swallowed hard and repeated, his voice quieter now, laced with a mix of sorrow and defiance. "I'm pregnant. It's yours." The silence that followed was unbearable, stretching long between them. Wangji stood up abruptly, his chair scraping harshly against the floor. His movements were stiff, mechanical, as though his body had refused to accept the reality of the situation. "How is that possible? You're-" "I'm an omega," Wei Wuxian interrupted, his voice cutting through the air. "You're an alpha. We... we knotted. Bonded or not, it's a natural process. So, yes. I'm pregnant. And whether we're ready for it or not, this is happening." Wangji's face shifted, disbelief melting into something darker-anger. His jaw clenched, his eyes flashing with a fury that made Wei Wuxian flinch. "This is your way of trapping me, isn't it? Of making sure I can't leave?" His voice trembled with the force of his words. Wei Wuxian's chest tightened at the accusation. "You really think that little of me?" His voice shook, but he stood his ground. "I don't know what to think!" Wangji snapped, the dam of emotions he had been holding back finally breaking. His voice rose, the weight of years of frustration spilling out. "Everything about this-about us-is wrong!"
