Wake up, go to school, eat, sleep, then do it all over again the next day. You never know how much of a routine this becomes until something extraordinary comes and screws it all up. What if something affects you so greatly that you can never look at the world the same way, that's my story. I lead a boring life, just like every other teenager on the planet or so I thought.

Growing up, I always thought that there was something terribly wrong with me. Because while everyone else had no problem blindly following orders, I had always been more curious. I realized I wasn't the only one when I met my friends. We came up with a whole plan to wait until graduation and then leave. We were so close, until it all went backwards. Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it.
