Ellie's life has been destroyed by war. Her mother murdered. She lives with her father and brother Ethan under a bridge with all the other people whose homes have been taken. Her only friend being Violet, a friend since before the war. The only way to get what they need is to join the Novi's. A group of teen girls stealing what they need to survive. But there are also the Drones. Humans captured, becoming brain dead through a surgery, a new warrior for the Queen. The Rebels fight against the Drones but rarely succeed. Rebels are enemies for the Novi's, but when Ellie get'a captured by the Rebels, her view of the world and who she can trust changes. Maybe the Novi's aren't as great as they seem. There is only one thing to do now, take out the Hive and the Queen, and the Rebels might just be the way to do it.
