As a painter, Devyn let her feelings out onto a canvas rather than the typical heart-to-hearts most seventeen year old girls go through. She’s been lost in a world of hurt since the age of 14, when she took up painting. Hiding within the canvas, her friends the various colours she uses to create herself, she's found a coping mechanism. Content with her life she doesn't expect anything to upset this new balance she's created. When she literally bumps into one of her high school’s star baseball players, Maverick Clarke, and he doesn’t let her fade back into the crowd like everyone else, will her comfortable balance be upset? Will Maverick suddenly become Devyn’s new muse?
