Grandview is a perfect Utopia, well as perfect as it can be in an apocalypse. In Grandview every citizen is provided with adequate food, and water, and are assigned to jobs what more could you ask for right? Little do the citizens know their little Utopia isn't as perfect as it seems. Athaliah, a young orphan, was just assigned to the most dangerous job the Grandview has to offer. Her deepest fears become reality, but braving them leads her to a new fate beyond her wildest dreams.

But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. The people begged the Utopian government to resolve the problem, but instead they fled to pre-made shelters and sent soldiers to control the rebellious, fearful citizens. The empire of safety became known as the Mechanical Hell, but was shortened to a simpler name: Mech. Can the rebellion free the struggling human race from the evils of their gigantic steel prison? But everything goes horribly wrong when there is a break in, and the 'perfect human formula' is unintentionally tested before it is ready. The result, is a nightmare of a human. A zombie.
