Please Peter Never Go Away, is a modern world retelling of Peter Pan, the plot is set in a fictional world, where we dive into the life of Maeve Pitcher. A Sydney sider girl who's only ever dreamt of living a better life than her mum lead on. When a school English task is handed out Maeve is given eleven weeks to write a ten chapter short novel. When she is picked by her teacher to use violence as the main theme she introduces herself to a world only understood by Peter Celt the boy across the street, well known to living in a destructive family by the residents of pelican drive. There's just one thing, understanding this world of neglect may push Maeve and Peter onto a path which could either bring his family to their fingertips or could leave both of them in the shadows
