Skylar gets weather powers because she was struck by lightning trying to save her truck from a group of thugs who were after something that her father had stolen from his boss. The lightning was fabricated and not natural. Skylar getting powers was a complete accident. She knows nothing about the company her father worked for or what exactly they do there. She doesn't know what the thugs were after when they stole her truck. She has to figure out what is going on. She has to figure out how to use her powers. She has to stop this from getting out of hand.
