Sabendo da situação da amiga, Thomas seu irmão de consideração ( que Julie carinhosamente chama-o de anjo, por não ter escolhido hora melhor para aparecer em sua vida ) ajuda-a a conseguir outro emprego. Mal sabia ela que seu príncipe não viria em um cavalo branco, ou seria loiro e de olhos azuis, mas teria olhos castanhos claros hipnotizantes.
