Most people would define the royals as people that have go-easy life, everything in life is so easy, no difficulties, no drama, nothing but luxury. But what if it was the opposite of those beliefs?

17 year old, Iris Chantel Williams is a royal, a princess to be exact. Her life has mostly been luxury, fame, and fortune, well at least in other people's eyes. 
One day Iris is told that she will be betrothed to the son of King Zachary, Prince Samuel Hetalis. Defying protocol, Iris runs away to a foreign land we all know today as California. With the guards hot on her tracks, Iris decides to attend a school, Lockdale Highschool. Not fitting in at first, Iris is teased, and pushed around. But with the help of a new friend, Iris is finally able to blend in, hoping to be unnoticed. After awhile Iris draws attention to herself, becoming one of the most popular girls in school, forgetting those who were with her in her time of need. Everything goes great for Iris...or so she thought...
