Alessandra Heartwood, known to friends as Ales, is the best junior rider in the country. She was beautiful, famous, and talented. She was known in her hometown like the girl who'd left and hit it big in Hollywood. Ales has built her name while concealing a devastating family life and is an expert at masking her true emotions, and putting on a facade. How else would she get to the top?
Then a horrific accident kills her horse, Hermes, and Ales finds her way back home without the only thing that's ever held her together. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race.
