Aubrey Carson is about to start her senior year of high school at Hilton Academy, and she's excited to finally be named cheer-leading captain and class president. However, the summer before her senior year, she finds a letter from her school on her counter. It states that due to budget cuts, her school Hilton Academy is merging with their long-time rival Willard Academy. Aubrey is shocked and upset; she was looking forward to spending her senior year with all her friends, and now she's going to have to face the annoying Willard kids in her school, most of whom are hot but irritating older guys. "What are you doing here?" I ask but it comes out as a sob. I don't want him, or anyone for that matter, to see me like this. I'm a wreck. Wyatt doesn't seem to mind though. He softly brushes the remaining tears from my face with his thumb. "I saw you run out of the canteen, green eyes. I couldn't just leave you here to cry because that would go against the tutor code."
