She just lost her sister and is now looking for a way to handle all the emotions she's feeling. Her parents basically shipped her off to fend for herself seeing as how her dead beat uncle seems to spend his time any other place but his home 24/7. She goes from the cautious girl to a risky one that does whatever she wants without thinking of the consequences. She doesn't enjoy what she does but she does it because she has to, it's her way of coping, her release of all the emotions she keeps bottled up.
