"Oh, so you're the secretive new girl who likes to keep to herself and doesn't want any friends. So if that's the case I take it you don't have a boyfriend." I laugh.

"Nice how you put that in there, but not I don't have a boyfriend. I left him back in Washington."

  "Was it serious?"

"No we only dated for a little while."

"Why'd you break up?" I sigh and look out of the window.

"Long story." I say softly. Short really, but it'd take me forever to actually explain it.

Stephanie Walker, a straight-A student, sweet, pretty, and every parent's dream. What happens when her simple life clashes with the golden boy on her senior year trip? Her last year in high school wasn't going to be as simple as she thought. "Don't let me catch you, cupcake." His voice boomed from downstairs. And I ran looking for where to hide. I shielded myself behind a pole and tried to calm my nerves. Way to go, Stephanie, my subconscious mind chimed in. I held my breath as I heard his footsteps. "Where are you cupcake?" he asked, and I scoffed internally. Like I would tell him where I am. I waited for a few seconds, and I heard nothing. I felt a hand snake around my waist, and I didn't need to turn around to know who it was. "Found you." He whispered into my ear, and a shiver ran down my spine. "How?" I breathed, turning around to face him. And he smirked, knowing the effect he had on me. 'Get your shits together, fool.' I mentally scolded myself. "Do you really want a real or sugarcoated explanation?" he asked, and I gave him a pointed look. "I could smell you a mile away." He whispered, putting a lock of my hair behind my ear, and butterflies fluttered in my stomach. This guy is going to be the death of me. "That is the sugarcoated version." He said, and I blinked a few times. I glared hard at him. "The pole didn't hide you well. I could see your cardigan peeking out." He said, and I rolled my eyes at him. "Now, time for my revenge." He whispered. I had a confused look on while he had his infamous smirk on. This can't be good! I felt something trickle down my body. I wiped my face and glared daggers at him. He didn't just pour flour on me even though I did the same. Isn't he supposed to be the mature one in this relationship? Putting on a poker face. "Mature much!" I said and walked away from him, pretending to be angry. Time for acting! "Come on babe, you can't ..." This book is amazing, so y'all BETTER TRY IT OUT!

"Christan why are you always showing up and throwing my boyfriend around? You aren't my brother so you don't get to choose who I date." I snapped as the rain-soaked the white summer dress I had on. "I do if who your dating isn't me. I've told you before Riley you're mine." He said clenching his bloody fist. "Miles wasn't good enough for you. No one is." "But you are?" I asked. "No, I'm far from it. But I can't help but think about you whenever I look at another girl. You're the first thing that's on my mind when I go to sleep and the first thing I see in my head when I wake up. I'm so fucking crazy about you." He said. I let a few tears out. "What about Taylor? What happened to you not wanting to lose him as a friend?" I asked. "I was wrong when I denied you. It meant more to me then I thought but I couldn't see that. I already got my ass beat by Taylor when I told him. But I explained to him that I would fix it. I'm in love with you, Riley Brown and I don't want to lose this feeling for nothing." He said. "You don't get it. You hurt me, Christan. You don't get a second chance to make it up. You don't get to spit this confession and expect me to forgive you. This isn't a sappy love story. I refuse to forgive you." I said. "Please." He said. "I gave you everything and you throw it away. What more could I give you?" I asked. "Just a kiss." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Riley Brown daughter of a lawyer and a cop. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. I sighed disappointed.
