Morning came, but the sky was still riddled with gloomy clouds, a wispy wind had gently brought forth a dense fog.  A frail man emerged from his hallowed sanctuary, noticing that the tree was probably a better place to be. Since he was lacking visibility in the marsh, and the forbiddingly cold murky water was up to his knees. Unconcerned with his well-being; the frail man fretted not, and decided to carry on aimlessly.All Rights Reserved

Standing back up she backed up to her car, climbed in and drove away at speed, not caring about getting him help...feet ran towards the young man, and voices where heard talking to the emergency services. Hands felt his body all over, trying to offer comfort, but he could feel his life ebbing away.

A deluge lasted months. Drops of bitterness and despair, washing away the few traces of partnership left between them. And no umbrella to shelter it.
