Escaping His Games - Sports Romance
The guy pushes his hood off and runs a hand through his untamed hair. I notice it shaking from where I'm standing, so I'm sure the pharmacist does too. Probably not the best strategy if you're shopping for drugs. "I just. . . It's fine, okay. What was the name of the other pills you said I could purchase?" he asks, barely keeping it together. ----- Colin's terrified. He can't close his eyes without wondering if his father is lurking around every corner. It isn't until she's weaseled her way into every part of his life that he realizes there may be something more to this relationship than he expected. So that's just another thing to add to the list of what's keeping him up. Jade's romantic life is far from ideal, so when proposed with the idea of a one-night stand with a guy who knows how to push all of her buttons, Jade says yes hoping that it will help her forget. For some reason unknown to me, I started shaking. It was so strong. I felt something I'd never felt before. All my life, I believed I was the only force that could put me in whatever position I wanted. Coupled with the fact that I was on drugs and I was still recovering, I felt my head spin around the room. Then, I fell on the ground. I felt a weight leaving my body. However, it was taking time to leave, so I stayed in that position and let myself sleep under that force that took me to the ground. "Whatever this view is, it's beautiful." I saw a big painting before me. It was bright and precious, and I smiled. The small boy that I was reached out to touch the colors spread out on it, but I couldn't reach. "Do you want it?" A masculine voice asked. Before he could finish, I nodded my head in excitement. "Here you go." "How much is it, please?" "It's free. It's yours. You can hang it on your bedroom wall and stare at it whenever you want." "Why won't you let me pay?" "Because it's so costly. You can't buy it. Emotional Amnesia
Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say, "I know you're not". I have felt like this many times in my life; as a kid, teenager and as an adult. I have seen many things in my life and felt even more things that has been horribly depressing... But I got up. I stood up to walk on for another day. I dealt with my emotional amnesia the only way I knew I could and that was by writing it out into poetry. I wanted to forget my pain and forget what I was going through. I needed that cut of the blade or a pill to drink to take everything away. My poetry became both my pill and my blade... Now I share the most intimate part of myself with the world. The part of me I kept hidden in the closet. The part I never thought I would ever present to the world. Now is the time I have to stop having amnesia about my emotions. It is time to learn, to better myself and to stand up and remember the things that I shut out like a voluntary amnesia all these years. Those who are offended after reading this - f**k you! all of the light went out. i could see the light but i could never walk towards it. i loved the feel of the sun...but i was never allowed in it. i wouldnt melt like the others, and i wouldnt sparkle like the others and i would criple in pain. i would fight it...but i didnt want to hurt those closest to me, thats why i didnt let him in. we were so close, they all thought that we were together...even he was confused. i was confused...i cannot afford to hurt him. he means so much to me and yet i have only known him for such a little time. i guess to escape the darkness...all i need to do is open my eyes.Concluida
