The Midville orpanage used to be a clean, nice place for orphaned children to grow up. Now it was a run-down disaster and Sara was sick of it. Being one of the oldest kids, she was overworked and miserable. She was so done with it she decided to run away. With the the help of a stray dog and a strong determination, she began her journey to the city to make a new life for herself.

This is my version of what would happen after episode 39. Can's unwillingness to fight for her and the reveal of what a mother is capable of in the name of a demented love. How does one carry on and live for themselves. Sanem has endured pain not known by many and still remains the The Phoenix.
