A story of revenge, betrayal and fate. Nobody knows when it started or how, but the Kennans have come to our world for as long as anyone can remember. The week after a full moon the portals to the world of Carralan open to ours, and they come; they look human, act human, but nobody would mistakes those unnatural creatures as such. The peace between both races is fragile, and it takes nothing but a simple revolution to change both worlds forever. Alara's life is simple, sew by day and go to the market at night, hoping to gain bargains and new products coming from the magical world on the other side of the portal. It's an easy job, if you don't mind the possibility of being killed rather than being a client. Her island is small, and she has managed to stay alive for seventeen years, and keep her friends alive with her as well. Everything goes wrong when, one day, the peace is broken and Alara gets home to find everything she loved destroyed by the beasts. Consumed with rage and desperation, she'll cross through the portal and go into Carralan itself to get revenge. But something unexpected happens. When caught she believes her life is forfeit, except the human-like beast she was going to kill claims she is his mate, and revenge becomes more difficult as she is trust into the intriguing and dangerous world of Carralan, and the rebellion forming on her own world. Kerin swear he is not the beast she believes him to be, but with the secrets he keeps and the nightmares that start to consume her mind, Alara is not sure whether she wants revenge, answers... or Kerin.

❝ Let's find you a new home, shall we? ❞ •○• A cold Shifter General. A bloodthirsty Vampire Prince. A powerful Fae King. A mysterious protective werewolf Alpha. And a human girl. The question was - why were the strings of fate bringing them together? •○• 18 year old, sharp and vigilant Cara Arnel was one step away from slavery freedom and being sold. And being caught by the Shifter General of the Vampire Army was most certainly not a part of that plan. Nor was becoming a scullery maid or an assaulted slave in the Royal Palace instead of a blood bag or sex slave. But that was when things started to change. Tensions became high and fights broke out in the unstable supernatural world with the return of Lucifer's son: Killian after more than four centuries. Her visions started again. And a bit too many supernatural males were willing to protect her for no reason whatsoever. Turns out, Cara might not be as insignificant as she thought. Yet, she was undoubtedly human. And it seemed, she wasn't as well informed of her past as she thought. If her memories were the ones to be relied upon. At least.......the ones she had of this life. •○• Shortlisted for Wattpad India Awards 2021 (Please don't copy the story line. It's all mine. A figment of my imagination.
