"Can't I chose truth?" I asked as she stared at me with an evil glint in her eyes.
"No. It's either a dare or a double dare. Hurry up, your wasting my time. So which one do you choose?"
"Double dare. I mumbled. I choose double dare.

Everything starts to change when Jane Marlin gets lost in her new neighborhood and ends up in the woods were she finds a camp stocked up with teenagers her age who are ready to play the game, the game which promises riches and glory to the one who wins. A game so gruesome that you could be badly injured or dead by the time the game ends. A game called dares or double dares.
But what can Jane do? They won't let her leave the house once they have spotted her. They claim she is their prisoner. The only way for Jane to escape is to win the game,by any means possible.

Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. [COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. "Dad!" I yell as I walk into the house. I'm greeted by nothing, except silence. My dad is rarely home, I don't know what I am expecting. Ever since my mom died, he's been nothing but distant with me.
