As he and Rose Tyler attempt to unravel why, the future version of the Doctor attempts to prevent the breakdown and decay of human civilization. But if one Doctor fails, the other Doctor must commit an act of murder in order to restore the timeline to normal....leading to an inevitable show-down between two versions of himself.
