December 31st

Its December 31st, 2086 and Samara and her family are crowded around the t.v. to watch the new year come in. In this society, people don't easily just go into the new year as they used to. People get stuck in the year that they are trying to leave if they don't do a certain amount of requirements that year. The only way to leave is to go through immense trials that are very very very difficult and may even lead to your death.
