It was a typical cool day for the month of October in Normal, Illinois. The houses were starting to decorate for Halloween. The birds were starting to migrate south for the winter. Farmers were harvesting their crops before they got ruined by the first snow and the dropping, chilling temperatures. This day though was no ordinary day for Vanessa Hinx. She had the perfect life; great friends, great family, but today was the day everything she once knew became a life of lies.
