A world in which eye color grants different powers; a world in which money and authority are dictated by the extent of those powers. Kyn Troyard resides in such a world, and he is a societal defect: his eyes are completely grey; he has no color. Living in the slums, he uses his wits to compensate for his lack of power as he attempts to protect the one person he cherishes in his world. His little brother. Little does he know, a series of events will spiral his life out of his control. Murders are occurring; disease is spreading; political factions from above are moving. And as for Kyn, he might just be playing a game of deception closely connected to upheaval of his world. A game that has rooted itself too deeply in disaster for him to pull out unscathed.
