Most Avatars never hear this prophecy till now that is. Tenzin gets a feeling he cannot shake. The prophecy has come to pass and tasks Korra with finding them before they are killed.
And here you are. On a ship bound to somewhere. You shackled and caged like an animal, You wait for something to happen. then the ship shakes. You know something is coming.
Can Korra convince this person to teach her their bending or will his nature he's gained through life stop that from happening. And what will happen to the relationship they form if she succeeds. Will it stay between student and teacher or will it become more?

Letters From Iroh by windamore

"As our ship sailed on past the horizon, where the ocean meets the sky, I drifted off to sleep, and for the first time, I didn't dream, because reality was better than I could have ever imagined." • • • The perfect storm brings Bao, an kind-hearted, talented, yet unconfident waterbender from Republic City and Iroh II, a powerful, compassionate General (not to mention Crown Prince of the Fire Nation) together- quite literally. She saved his ship, and he saved her. Yet, in spite of all they went through together, Bao runs away from him. Terrified of public attention and being made fun of in the media, she seeks shelter in her family's home. Not one to be easily deterred, Iroh writes to her, and with the help of friends and family she returns to him, and to her destiny. It's a grander, more liberating one than she could ever have hoped for. One she faces her fears, she realises how much she matters, that she really was worth loving all along, and is finally able to face the world with open arms and open eyes. ||General Iroh II x Original Character|| A few choice pieces of knowledge about this book: 1. It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end. I didn't go back and edit the earlier parts, but if you stick around the whole time, it only gets better as you go! ||Once more, thank you, to everyone who liked this, and told me so! It means the world to me!|| One last sappy thing: I love you guys! Having said that, I'm out. ♡||

**COMPLETED*** This is book 2 and can be read as a standalone but I recommend you read "Fated" first. Something caught my eye and when I looked up in the mirror I saw Rykan stepping inside, shutting the door and sliding the lock in place. My heart hammered in my chest as he approached me. He came right up behind me, setting his hands on my hips, never breaking our gaze through the mirror. "Kora," he murmured, stepping closer until my back brushed against his chest. His hand slid down to the end of my skirt and he flattened his palm against my bare leg, sliding his hand up my skirt. "I'm married," I blurted, swallowing hard and trying to ignore how much I liked the way it felt having his hands on me. "Hm," he grunted, narrowing his eyes as he continued his ascension up my outer thigh. His touch sent tingles all over my body, sending heat right between my legs. He gripped my leg and suddenly turned me, his hand now palming my ass as he pulled me against him, his teeth scraping against my neck as his other hand up to my neck. "Didn't seem to bother you when you had me down your throat last night," he said, wrapping his hand around my throat and lifting his head to give me one of those heart-stopping stares. "In fact, I believe you started that, angel." Koralie always felt that there was a part of herself missing. A part she hadn't yet discovered. Stuck in a toxic marriage, she's navigating her way out of it when she meets Rykan, a mysterious stranger she feels an undeniable draw towards although she isn't sure why. Things become even more intense when he starts showing up in her dreams, claiming he is a werewolf and they are mates. An even more unexpected turn of events comes when Kora starts looking into the supernatural world and finds it is not as foreign to her as it should be. Warning: This story contains very mature themes including brief mentions of abuse, mature language, mental health and sexual content.

I've never opened up like that, especially not with people my age. "Wow, you're actually capable of saying more than four words." He said and we both laughed. I could see where he was coming from. I was never the one to be good with words. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bore you with the story of my life." I said already regretting how I had rambled just a few moments ago. "No, I'm glad you're finally opening up. It's nice to know the real you." He said and stopped up. I automatically stopped up myself and looked up at him. Into his mysterious eyes, holding more than I could ever be able to explain ************************************************ In this story we follow Kya's daughter, Naomi the nonbender. "Go Ëthia! Get out of here!" He yelled at me. I quickly looked around to see if there was anything that could get us out of this situation, there had to be, I couldn't just leave him here to die knowing that I hadn't given it my all. "No, I won't leave you here! There has to be something I can do" I said looking around frantically. I wandered around the arena looking for something to untie him but I couldn't find anything. The expression on his face begged me to go, to leave him and save myself, it was the one thing he truly wanted. "Please Ëthia, I couldn't live another moment knowing that you weren't there with me, you've got a colony and people to rule over, please go". I took a step forward and he began yelling at me. "I said go! Leave now! Save yourself! I will never forgive you if don't leave, and that's something I promise to keep". *** Everyone has had something taken from them, whether it be hope, love, possessions, or people. Ëthia learned this a long time ago, after the death of her parents she has had to figure out how to be the best ruler she can be. She's learned to make sacrifices, put love aside, and do what's best for her colony. But now, as a prophecy has been revealed to her, she'll have to reconsider what her heart has told her and embark on a journey in which she'll have to take step by step and rely on others to help her accomplish what she needs to do.
