All her life, Daniela was scared to let people inside her walls. Scared that they would just walk away like everyone else in her life. Afraid of the memories, Daniela and her family moved far far away from their homes, in hopes of having a fresh start. Now being the new girl in the city of Gold Coast, Queensland Australia, everything changes. Her life takes turns, flips and rolls she never experienced, that is until she slowly let Cody into her life. Cody 'The Prince' Simpson was your typical popular football player in highschool. Although he's not an asshole, or player he still has somewhat of an image to keep up. And he too is scared to let people into his walls. Only his best friends know his passion for singing and surfing, and he tries so much to hide who he really is. That is until Daniela stumbled into his life, literally.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
