Aiden Matthews devoted his life to serving his country, despite graduating from Stanford. When he found out his father had a heart attack, his calling took a back seat. He filed for a leave of absence and rushed to the hospital upon reaching US soil, only to find that his father was still hell bent on making him take over the family business.

Andrea Parker is a talented cardiologist at New York General Hospital. Her latest patient is Richard Matthews, CEO of M Industries, a tech company dabbling in weaponry and security systems. During one is her rounds, she overheard him heatedly arguing with someone.

Despite noticing his sexy aura, the only sane thing for a doctor to do is to kick him out, without bothering to know who the man is.

Aiden is a military man, meaning it's in him to be stubborn and headstrong. It surprised him to know that the spunky doctor was able to kick him out just like that. How the hell does she know how to push her buttons, he can't fathom. All his navy seal training went down the drain, upon seeing the angry doctor's face.
