I laughed without humour, I suppose it sounded lifeless because concern etched onto his face further, he took a steady step towards me his arm lifting ever so slightly, probably thinking about the possibility that I could impulsively jump. " there's no need" I whispered " I'm not going to jump, I don't need to be saved from a boy that doesn't even realise what he's saving, I'm not a damsel in distress and your not my knight in shinning armour"  sliding myself around I dropped my feet to the floor and  pulled up my hood, glancing at the boy I saw him at a loss for words, not particularly caring about his surprise or concern I didn't spare him another glance I started walking the way that I knew took me back home.
