Gerard is a normal guy in his last year of highschool. He had been bullied before but stood up for himself and now everyone knows not to mess with him.
Frank is a kid with a troubled past, a failed suicide attempt and parents who don't care. He has a horrible memory of his old school which is why he transferred.
The two become bus "buddies" and make friends eventually, but friendship is an understatement.
They turn into lovers.
