Anakin and Padme
This is a story about Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala if Anakin never became the greatest Sith Lord and Padme never passed in child birth. Anakin left the Jedi order due to having children yet he still tries to make Naboo (the planet he's currently living on) a peaceful and safe environment for him and his family. I know I am using the years BBY in this book however I'm not going to write about the Battle of Yavin as it wouldn't make sense in this book. There would be no death star in this Galaxy meaning the Battle of Yavin wouldn't take place so let's ignore that and pretend they mean something different! In the original movies Leia's last name is Organa due to her adoptive parents however in this story it is Skywalker like her fathers. Also this story has a lot of [* months later] just because it's easier rather than writing a really long story every day until Luke and Leia turn 20, it's also just the months when babies start doing things like talking, crawling teething etc. The story is different and is not like how it is in ROTS!!! Anakin Skywalker will not become Darth Vader. Not yet, anyway. Padmé saved him from a lifetime of regret by pulling him out of the fateful battle between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine. But at some point, he still has to decide if his heart lies with the Jedi or the Sith. Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. Anakin and Obi-Wan have just rescued the Chancellor and returned to planet side safe and sound. Anakin has finally had his long awaited reunion with Padmé. But it doesn't last for long. The next thing the three of them know, the Force has transported them to a different place. A different universe, to a planet that is known as Earth. Luna Snow Ramsey is nearly fourteen. She is obsessed with Star Wars, friendless, has a past she tries not to think about, and is used to handling everything one way: solo. One night, her world is turned upside down when she meets three people from a place that she had previously thought only existed in her imagination and dreams. Things begin to become steadily more chaotic as time goes on. Luna believes the Force will bring the three back to their proper universe, but until then it is up to her to find a way to keep Anakin from the darkside and warn the two Jedi and Senator of what is to come. It doesn't help that she knows so much about their world and has to be careful of what she tells of their future. From there, things that Luna would normally handle alone are unwilling for her to be able to take care of, and another memory is added to the ever growing pile stitched behind a wall for past memories she doesn't want to think about.
